Medi Mori

What was the challenge?

To stimulate public conversations with people across the UK on how they access, interpret and use evidence to judge the benefits and harms of medicines.

What did we do?

Designed and produced a fictional pharmacy housing a series of 21 imaginary medicines designed to serve as conversational aids during interviews with the public as part of a larger research project led by Ipsos MORI and the Academy of Medical Sciences. The designs were a distillation of the wide-ranging content and questions that the project was looking to address. The medical ranges were created to connect across a diverse public audience, and each featured different facts relevant to medical testing and evidence.

What was the result?

The products proved very successful in engaging people in difficult questions. The clients were so pleased with the design that the pharmacy is now housed permanently in the atrium of the Academy of Medical Science’s Portland Place HQ
